The Complete Sherlock Holmes
By: Arthur Conan Doyle

While reading through this book I have become even more intrigued with how the villains through the book almost always have a good and just reason for their crimes, even if they were murder or something of the sort.  I also find it funny how the book expresses different ideas than the modern day interpretations of the adventures of Holmes, and Watson.  In today's re-incarnations of the stories there is much more violence than in the original tales of mystery and puzzle.  What are some of the differences you see? Tell me in the comments.

  1. The villains are good? How are they good? What are their actions.

  2. Normally the person that they commit the crimes against has seriously wronged them in the past like killed their family or betrayed them.
